使徒時代，人喜歡穿戴戒指以示富有和身分地位的高超。因此有人為了炫耀自己，不但穿戴一隻戒指，甚至有人穿戴數隻。所以，有教父（初期教會領袖）革利免提醒信徒只可穿戴戒指一隻，並要戴在小指頭上。
您常常以穿著去顯示自己的價值嗎？難道上教會沒有穿著的自由？
我們上教會要如何穿著才是合宜？
1.整潔齊正
為了衞生和健康，我們應該穿著整潔齊正。
2.正確價值
我們的價值不在乎家道豐富，地位高超，乃在乎我們是否萬神之神和萬王之王的兒女。
3.尊重場合
穿著乃要看場合。當然已盡力，也不用介意別人的看法。
4.配合文化
看看當地文化，盡量加以配合。
5.愛及他人
不要讓人覺得自卑和比較，總要穿著一般為宜。
禱告事項
1.求神給我們力量，不斷肯定自己和別人，過著謙卑自信的生活。
2.求神給我們今天有傳福音和建立生命的機會。
3.其他
